Lucille A. Kienast

Lucille A. Kienast, 88, of Portage, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Christ Lutheran Church in DeForest, with the Rev. Charles Peterson officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.Thursday at the church until the time of the service. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.

Lucille was born May 18, 1919, in Tony, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Mechelke) Hraban. She was married to Walter Kienast. Lucille had been an active member in the Ladysmith Bridge Club. She lived for playing cards with many of her friends at the Phoenix.

She is survived by 13 children, Walter Charles (Judith) Kienast, Portage, Marjory Rae (Norman) Schultz, Montello, Richard Allen (Kathy) Kienast, Hartford, Harvey Jerome (Kathy) Kienast, Florida, Juanita Jean (Robert) Stillwell, Michigan, Ronald Gene (Kathy) Kienast, Mukwonago, William LaVern Kienast, New Auburn, Barbara Ann (James) Crawford, Pardeeville, Thomas Elmer Kienast, Florida, Delbert Roger Kienast, California, Bruce Todd (Monica) Kienast, Ladysmith, Diane Kay (Darrell) Golat, Ladysmith, and Anthony James Kienast, Delavan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Rudolph Hraban, Wisconsin, Pearl Wolford, Ohio, Mildred (Paul) Potts, Texas, Walter (Joyce) Hraban, Wisconsin, Charles Hraban, Wisconsin, Phyllismae (Warren) Paul, Wisconsin, and Donnamae Lincoln, Wisconsin; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter F. Kienast; a daughter, Cynthia Marie Kienast; a son, Gregory John Kienast; a sister, Francis Callaway; and a brother, Richard Hraban.
