Rosa Lamp died at the age of 79 early in the morning of Feb. 1, 2007, in Portland, Ore., where she moved to be close to her daughter.
She was born April 17, 1927, in Menomonee Falls, the eighth and youngest child of Michael and Theresa Puhl. She grew up and spent most of her life in the Waukesha area, working for many years as a bookkeeper at Home Supply & Building Material, Inc. She married Albert Lamp in 1948, and they had 53 wonderful years together. Everyone who knew them recognized their love for each other and their family. He preceded her in death in 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Schmidt, of Portland, Ore.; her sister, Mary Boettcher of Rolla, Mo.; two grandchildren, Sarah and Jason Dumont, as well as several nieces and nephews.
