Deborah M. Gonzales

Deborah M. Gonzales, 41, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa. She was born in Waukesha on Jan. 25, 1966, to Manuel and Theresa (nee Garcia) Gonzales.

Deborah had a long and hard-fought battle against lupus. She died with grace and dignity, putting her life in God’s hands, while finding the inner peace she sought. While she was a quiet and laid back person, she could be quite a jokester. Deb was a real people person who loved to play pool. She was truly loved and will be missed.

Deb is survived by her father and stepmother, Manuel and Kathleen Gonzales of Waukesha; sisters, Jacqueline Gonzales and Ann Marie Gonzales, both of Waukesha; best friend Barry Richards of Waukesha; nieces, Cassandra, Alexandra and Nicole; stepbrothers, Ronald Lange of Germany and Robert Lange of Waukesha; stepsister, Suzanne Lange of Waukesha; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa.

Visitation for Deborah will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, 1314 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A service of celebration and remembrance will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a luncheon and continued fellowship, all at the church. Private interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are suggested.
