Alice I. Rozek, 81, of the town of Summit, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at AngelsGrace Hospice.

She was born Aug. 24, 1925, in Neosho, the daughter of Edwin and Amanda (nee Krueger) Schultz.

She married Daniel J. Rozek on June 6, 1949, in Waukesha.

Alice worked at Brownberry Ovens in Oconomowoc. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.

She is survived by her children, Raymond Rozek of Necedah and Kathryn (Lawrence) Brook of Oconomowoc; her siblings, Ida (Albert) Weege of Mosinee, Elmer (Jean) Schultz of Brookfield and Raymond (Hilda) Schultz of Arkansas; as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Rozek; her sons, Gerald and Steven Rozek; and her brothers, Arnold and Walter Schultz.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Schmidt & Bartelt-Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc, with a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. Kent Schroeder will officiate. Burial is at Summit Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or AngelsGrace Hospice.
