Daryl Lee Raymer

Daryl Lee Raymer, 54, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Wisconsin and Rockford, Ill., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, in his home. He was born July 18, 1952, in Rockford, the son of Lester Lee and Elizabeth Louise (nee Benz) Raymer.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Faith Bennett in Waukesha in 1980, and they divorced in 1987. He worked most of his adult life as a state of Wisconsin employee in Waukesha, Oshkosh and Portage. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, fishing, ice fishing and duck hunting.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth L. Raymer of Roscoe, Ill.; brothers, Leighton Raymer of Rancho Cocamonga, Calif., Brian Raymer of Machesney Park, Ill., and Loren Raymer of Rockford; half-brother, John (Susie) Raymer of Shingleton, Mich.; sisters, Lynn (Greg) Porter of Roscoe and Cheryl (Ronald) Larsen of Loves Park, Ill.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 17, at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL 61111.
