Quentin W. Hein

Quentin W. Hein, a longtime resident of Waukesha, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at age 85.

Quentin served in the U.S. Navy with the rank of lieutenant junior grade in World War II, and was involved in rocket research and testing.

He worked as an engineer in design and research of couplings for the Falk Corp. in Milwaukee for many years, retiring from his position in his 60s.

He was a longtime member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Waukesha. Quentin graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee and received a masterís degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also attended a program at MIT in Massachusetts.

He is the beloved husband of Carrol; loving father of Peter (Anne), Douglas (Cheryl), Rusty, Kevin and George; proud grandfather of three grandchildren, Pete Jr., Michael and Melissa; and the beloved brother of Calvin.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Congregational Home Chapel, 3150 Lilly Road, Brookfield. A committal service will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, followed by a reception for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Prostate Cancer Research Education Foundation would be welcome.
