Daniel A. ‘Dan’ Olshefski

Daniel A. "Dan" Olshefski, 46, of East Troy, left the loving arms of his family and entered the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007.
He was born Feb. 11, 1960, in Waukesha, the son of Francis "Bud" and Gladys (nee Jacobson) Olshefski.
He was a graduate of Waukesha South High School. On May 2, 1987, he married Teri Sasse, and they were longtime residents of the East Troy area. He was employed as a machinist for Crosstowne Manufacturing. His memberships included First Congregational Church of East Troy - United Church of Christ, the National Rifle Association and Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin. Dan loved the special times he spent with his family, soccer games, musical performances, camping, cookouts and Disney vacations.
He is survived by his wife, Teri Olshefski; sons, Kellen and Kory Olshefski; "fur kids," Rory, Jazz and Dakota; his father, Francis "Bud" Olshefski; sister, Pat (Dave) Whiteside; brother, David (Jodi) Olshefski; brother- and sister-in-law, Rick and Terry Sasse; nieces, Cortney Olshefski, Kristin, Kate and Kim Sasse; and nephew, Eric Olshefski. Also surviving are his special friends, Ellen, Mike and Lori, the Spurlocks, the Winks, Tom and Judy, and Bob and Shari, as well as other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Olshefski, and his nephew, Tim Olshefski.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service Friday, Feb. 2, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated to the family.
