Henry G. Mueller

Henry G. Mueller, 90, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at LindenGrove Health Care Center in New Berlin. Henry was born in the town of Ottawa on Aug. 7, 1916, the son of the late Henry and Annie (nee Wachendorf) Mueller.

Henry was united in holy matrimony to Helen Zillmer on Nov. 23, 1946. Helen passed away July 17, 2000. Henry was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha and was a retiree from Green Engineering after many years there as a machinist. Henry will always be lovingly remembered by his family as one who loved to tinker. He always loved a "project."

Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Mueller; his sisters, Elizabeth (Frank) Betker, Lydia (Herbert) Bahr, Louise (Alvin) Cooper and Eleanor (Ernest) Olson; and brothers, Herman (Eleanor), Christian (Hazel) and Alfred (LaVerne).

Henry is lovingly survived by his daughters, Betty (Frank) Hoover and Bonnie (Carl) Trapp; his sons, Butch (best friend Sam) and David (MaryJo); daughter-in-law, Sandra Mueller; and by his grandchildren, Jane (Rick) Backhaus, Jeff (Wendy) Hoover, Dan Hoover, Michelle Mueller, BreAnn Mueller, Nathan Mueller, Angie Mueller, Lisa (Cuong) Truong, Kim (Brian) Northrop, Jake (Carrie) King and Clay King. Henry is further survived by seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mr. Mueller will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Thursday, July 19, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, with the Rev. Scott Oelhafen officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Pewaukee.

The family would like to extend a deep thanks to the loving staff at Oak Hill Terrace in Waukesha and to the staff at LindenGrove in New Berlin for the care given to Henry.
