Mary Maxine ‘Maxie’ Johnson

In memory of Mary Maxine (Maxie) Johnson, born Jan. 11, 1935, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who passed away suddenly into eternal life Monday, July 9, 2007, due to respiratory complications after acquiring valley fever.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Terrence R. Johnson; sons, Randy (Colleen) Larson and Rick (Laurel) Larson; daughters, Lori (Terry) House and Cindy (Gregg) Hauk; and grandchildren, Jessica, Courtney, Ashley, Brian and Brad. She is also survived by her brother, William Hepp and sister, Wilma Von Rueden.

She enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially gardening, boating and golfing. She was extremely creative and expressed her artistic talents in home decorating, water color painting and sculpting.

A gracious hostess to her family and friends, those who knew Maxi were lucky to have her touch their lives.

There will be a memorial service/celebration of her life starting at 4 p.m. Friday, July 27, with a Mass service at 5 p.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, W359-N8512 Brown St. (Highway P), Mapleton.
