Karl F. Plinska

Karl F. Plinska, 90, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1917, in Gaastra, Mich., to Fred and Clara (nee Schroeder) Plinska.

On Oct. 30, 1943, he married the former Helen Louise Snell in Gooding, Idaho. They were blessed with 60 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 2003. Mr. Plinska was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a retired letter carrier.

He is survived by his children: Karlene Kennedy of Nevada and Lee (Tamara) Plinska of Waukesha; grandchildren, Ashley and Nicole Plinska and a brother-in-law, William (Marie) Snell of Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Mr. Plinska will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service, all at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha. Interment with full military honors will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee (please meet at cemetery entrance).
