Edwin Albert Ed Stachowski

Edwin Albert Ed Stachowski, 92, of Muskego, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Zilber Hospice. Ed was born Aug. 31, 1914, the son of Alex and Stella (nee Sucharski) Stachowski.

Ed was a founding member of St. Leonard Catholic Church in Muskego. He retired after 40 years from Heil Co. and was a member of the Heil Trapshooting Club. Ed was an artist, he loved to dance and was an avid hunter who raised and trained German shorthair pointers.

Ed will be sadly missed by his wife, Lucy; children, Kathy (Ken) Paulson of Waukesha, John (Marilyn) Stachowski of Medford and Mary (John) Walsh of New Berlin; grandchildren, Kurt (Angie), Kevin (Laura) and Kraig (Jill) Paulson, Christina (Ted) Syens and Lisa (Joel) Imbody, Sean and Joe Walsh; 13 great-grandchildren and his sister, Alvera Frauenheim of North Carolina. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his granddaughters, Karen and Kristine Paulson; and sister, Wanda Gassenhuber.

A visitation for Ed will be held Friday, June 8, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, and also on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Leonard Congregation, W173-S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego, WI 53150.
