Jacob M. Stigler

Jacob M. Stigler, 27, of Grayslake, Ill., took the journey to his heavenly home Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
Jacob was born Sept. 17, 1979, in Tacoma, Wash. He graduated from Grayslake High School in 1998 and was employed as a manager for Billís Pub in Grayslake.
Jacob is the loving son of Connie (Stuart) Cook of Palatine, Ill., and Mark (Sherri) Stigler of Waukesha. He is the dear grandson of Mary Miley of Waukesha, Mary (Al) Stigler-Munkacsy of Brookfield, Tom (Carol) Stigler of Waukesha, Susan Thurber and Jan and Jerry Johnson of Vulcan, Mich. He is the ever-doting big brother of Sarah (Tamale) Stigler of Chicago, Allison Cook of Palatine, Ill., and of Carlie, Logan and Savanna Stigler of Waukesha. Jacob is also survived by his large family, including many aunts, uncles and cousins, and many dear friends, all of whom he loved very much.
Jacob was preceded in death by his special Uncle Brian, and his beloved grandfather, Donald "Pap-Pap" Miley; and by other friends and family.
Jacob was a loving son, grandson and brother. He was a gifted musician and an incredible drummer. Jacob was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt with his family in Northern Wisconsin. He was a dedicated worker and a loyal friend to many.
We are all blessed to have been graced with his fun-loving and generous spirit.
A celebration of Jacobís life will be held at Strang Funeral chapel, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, Ill., on Sunday, June 10, 2007. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m.
