Donald W. Plamann

March 15, 1923 - June 14, 2007

Donald W. Plamann, 84, joined his beloved wife, Dorothy, on Thursday, June 14, 2007.

He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Coast Guard and a retiree of Nordberg after 42 years of service.

He was the cherished father of Susan (Donald) Lange, Michael (Arlene) and Nancy Plamann; dearest grandfather of Craig (Debbie) Lange, Keith (Kelly) Lange and Jennifer (Steve) Leitner; great-grandfather of Kylie, Shay, Kaitlyn and Brandon; and dear brother of Robert (Shirley) Plamann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee. Visitation continues from 11 a.m. until a noon funeral service Monday, June 18, at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church, S66-W14225 Janesville Road, Muskego. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

His family would like to thank Dr. Gilberto Rodrigues, the staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital and the staff of AngelsGrace Hospice for their compassionate and tender care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church School Tuition Assistance Program or to AngelsGrace Hospice, W359-N7430 Brown St., Oconomowoc.
