Robert C. Pike

Lifelong Waukesha resident Robert C. Pike, 80, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at his Waukesha home. He was born April 25, 1927, in Waukesha, to Louis C. and Blodwen (Roberts) Pike.
Robert was a World War II Navy veteran. On July 16, 1949, he married the former Shirley Green. Mr. Pike retired from Waukesha Rubber. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his children, William (Joan) of Balsam Lake, Jeffery (Judith), David (Mercedes), Thomas and Barbara (Randall) Schmid, all of Waukesha, Linda (Daniel) Friemund of Dousman, Leona (David) Dyer of West Allis and Marilee (James) Turley of Waukesha; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Warren (Marty) Pike of Dousman, and a sister-in-law, Marian Pike of Dousman. Other relatives and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; brothers, Louis Jr., Bruce and Harold; and a grandson, David Dyer.
Visitation for Robert will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service Friday, June 29, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A private committal will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
