Walter Kuester

Walter C. Kuester, 90, of Waukesha, formerly of West Allis, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at Virginia Health & Rehabilitation Center in Waukesha. He was born April 16, 1916, in Milwaukee, the son of William and Meta (nee Kosbab) Kuester.

Walter was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was a World War II veteran of the Air Corps. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Tripoli Shrine. Walter and his wife, Edna, also spent some of their retirement years in Ednas home state of Indiana prior to her passing.

Walter is lovingly survived by his nieces, Segal and Jean Rodgers, and a nephew, Earl Kuester.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna, and his twin brother, William.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13250 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield. Those attending are asked to please meet in the green parking area in front of the main building at the cemetery.
