Ruth L. Wolfe

Ruth L. Wolfe, a lifelong resident of Mukwonago, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007, at her home, where she resided since she was 3 months old. Ruth was born Oct. 19, 1919, in the town of Mukwonago, the daughter of Fred and Clara (nee Jacobs) Box.
Ruth was a 1937 graduate of Mukwonago High School. On Oct. 5, 1940, she married Lyle L. Wolfe at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Mukwonago.
Ruth and her husband farmed in the town of Mukwonago for many years. They loved to travel and camp together in their motor home, and they also loved fishing.
Ruth was a member of the Sno-Snoops Snowmobile Club in Mukwonago and Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle; two daughters, Carolyn (Ed) Loomis of the town of Genesee and Julie (Bill) Zitzler of the town of Mukwonago; three grandchildren, Nicole, Mandy and Becki Thompson; and other relatives and friends.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 21, at Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, 315 Main St. (Highway ES) Mukwonago. The Rev. Arthur Koepsell will officiate. Burial will take place privately at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Mukwonago.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2825 N. Mayfair Road, Suite 9, Wauwatosa, WI 53222, are appreciated.
