Kenneth C. Patterson
May 2, 1925 - March 22, 2007
Kenneth C. Patterson of Delafield entered eternal life on March 22, 2007, at the age of 81. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Grace (Gelhar); and children Judy Tetting of Pewaukee and Janice (Bryan) Skore, Helenville; grandchildren James (Tonia) Grant, Justin and Julie Potenberg; five great-grandchildren: Logan, Savannah, Damion, Dylan and Cassie; brothers Vern (Jean) Patterson, of Friendship, and Gerald (Pat) Patterson, Brookfield. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers Neil, Jack and Allen and sisters Lila and Betty.
He was retired after 43 years as a first class power house engineer at Allis-Chalmers. Kenneth was a member of Delafield Presbyterian Church, where he had served as elder and deacon, and the church dartball league.
Kenneth also was a member of the American Legion Post 196, Delafield; and a retired member of the Delafield Fire Department. He was a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 26, and also from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, March 27, at the Delafield Presbyterian Church, 1851 Genesee St., Delafield, where the Rev. Bob Jensen will officiate. Interment will take place in the City of Delafield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Delafield Presbyterian Church, Fund of Remembrance.
