Shirley Ann Slattery

Shirley Ann Slattery, 77, died peacefully Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at LindenGrove Health Care Center. She was born in Green Bay on July 27, 1929, to George D. and Nettie (nee Doenitz) Slattery.

Shirley was a 1948 graduate of Waukesha High School and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Robert) DuByne of Waco, Texas; her brother, Charles (Bonnie) Slattery of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Rob DuByne of Waco, Lauretta DuByne of Houston, and Chris (Brian) Beam, Colleen North, Brian (Robin) Slattery and Kevin Slattery, all of Kansas City, Mo.; and great-nieces and nephew, Alex North, Porter Slattery and Cameron Slattery. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nettie Slattery.

A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with a parish vigil service at 7:45 p.m. Services continue on Friday, May 11, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and then to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
