Frederick A. Raumann, 77, of Adams, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Divine Savior Extended Care Nursing Home in Portage.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery, town of Quincy, Adams County. Military rites will be offered at the graveside service by the Adams VFW Post No. 6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post No. 250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post No. 273.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Frederick was born Feb. 21, 1930, in Waukesha to William and Meta M. (nee Hoppe) Raumann. He graduated from Waukesha High School in 1948. Frederick was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. He married Joanne M. Badciong on Sept. 15, 1951, at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Frederick worked for the city of Waukesha for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He and his wife moved to the town of Quincy in 1992.
Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Raumann of Adams; daughters, Sandra (Scott) Hink of Waukesha, Mary (Ken) Fehrman of Waukesha and Jane (Tom) Sovey of Waukesha; grandchildren, Ken, Heith (Terri), Mathew (Jill), Travis, Erik, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Drew, Camden, Avery Mae and Mason; brother, Wilbur (Marge) Raumann of Hobe Sound, Fla.; brother-in-law, Frank (Anna Mae) Badciong of Wales; sister-in-law, Betty Green of Waukesha; other relatives and friends.
