Stephen James Cook

Mr. Stephen James Cook, 53, of Carrollton, Ga., passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Mr. Cook was born July 19, 1952, in Waukesha, to Dr. Howard and Shari Mussehl Cook of Dousman.
Mr. Cook attended Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Mr. Cook was the director of sales for Sony Music Co. and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mrs. Patricia Holmes Cook of Carrollton; his daughter, Lauren Kelly Cook of Carrollton; sons, Josh Williams of Tallapoosa, Ga., and Jacob Williams of Carrollton; granddaughters, Megan Williams and Katelyn Williams, both of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Joseph Schmitt of Sun Prairie; nieces, Amy Cook of California, Elizabeth (Richard) Stackhouse and Katherine Schmitt, both of Sun Prairie; and nephew, Anthony Schmitt of Sun Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas "Tom" Cook; nephew, Joey Schmitt; and his grandparents, Clarence and Katherine Mussehl and Howard and Rosella Cook.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 26, in the family life center at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Clem. Memorial services for Mr. Cook will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at the church.
