James ‘Pat’ Slack

James "Pat" Slack, 73, died May 8, 2007, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Waukesha.
In 1954, he graduated from Waukesha High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He learned to fly at the Waukesha Airport and held several flying jobs prior to being employed by Pan American Airlines in 1966, where he retired as a captain.
Surviving him are his former wife, Victoria Romono, son, J.J. Slack; and stepdaughters, Lori Cox, Pam Hilins and Stacy Heymann. Also surviving are a brother John "Duke" (Ellen) Slack; sister, Norma (Al) Exner; and 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents Jack and Margaret Slack.
Services were held in Fort Lauderdale.
