Lois Ada Pieper

Lois Ada Pieper (nee Moldenhauer), 83, of Watertown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007.

Lois was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed bowling, rummage sales, music and singing. She was a "people person" and loved people.

She was a member of St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, the St. Paulís Ladies Aid and the Oconomowoc Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Shop in Watertown.

She is survived by her beloved children, Karen Sjoberg of Ixonia, Wilbur (Barbara) Pieper of Ixonia, Duane (Pat) Pieper of Farmington and Donna Mae (Steve) Bergdorf of Watertown; grandchildren, Debbie (T.J.) Tranel of Oconomowoc, Todd Pieper of Milwaukee, Katie (Don) Kucken of Ixonia, Gwen (Jeff) Ducett of Oconomowoc, Darrin Sjoberg of Ixonia, John Pieper of Cottage Grove, Jamie (Larry) Losengger of Mount Horeb, Traci (David) Skolaski of Jefferson, Jon (Connie) Kohlmetz of Watertown and Shannon Bergdorf of Watertown; and brother, Harris (Millie) Moldenhauer of Ashippun. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Gerhard, and parents, Alex and Dorothy Moldenhauer.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Nov. 6, at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church, 210 E. Pleasant St., Oconomowoc. The Rev. Douglas Fleischfresser and the Rev. Ronald Krug will be officiating. Interment will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Golden Living Center and Dr. Holden for the wonderful care given to Lois.
