Anthony ‘Tony’ J. Scrima

Anthony "Tony" J. Scrima was born in Waukesha on Oct. 31, 1929, the son of the late Joe and Rose (nee Novilla) Scrima. He passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, with family members by his side.

Tony was the beloved husband of Doris (nee Nickel) for 56 years; a one-of-a-kind and loving father to Rick (the late Patricia), the late Lynn Dries and Cheryl "Mu-chi" (Michael) Smith; favorite grandpa of Lani (Katherine) Stevens, Peter (Lisa) Smith, Acacia Smith (Chris Hughes), Alissa and Lauren Dries; caring great-grandpa to Kansas Smith, with another great grandson on the way; brother of the late Michael (Judy) Scrima and Phyllis (Paul) Schoenecker; and brother-in-law of the late Dale (the late June, the late Mildred) Nickel and Trudy (Phil) Jones.

Tony was an artistic, humorous, kind and loving person who loved fishing, NASCAR and animals. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Happy birthday! We love you and will miss you lots.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial Mass on Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 824 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Burial will be held at a later date.
