Ann Youmans Liban

Ann Youmans Liban, 60, of Milwaukee, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Columbia St. Maryís Hospice. She was born Aug. 30, 1947, in Waukesha, the daughter of Juanita (Williams) and Henry A. Youmans Jr.

After graduating from Waukesha South High School, she obtained a degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Ann married James Liban on Aug. 13, 1988, at The Cathedral of St. John in Milwaukee, where she was a member. She was employed as an AODA (alcohol and other drug abuse) counselor for many years at rehab hospitals in the Milwaukee area.

Ann will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Jim of Milwaukee; stepson, Matthew Liban of Milwaukee; three sisters, Barbara Wenger of Jacksonville, Ill., Martha (Peter) Hanson of Wausau and Jane (Remigio) Torres of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Henry (Dana) Youmans III of Fort Atkinson; her mother, Juanita Youmans of Waukesha; her father-in-law, Harold Liban of Brown Deer; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Youmans Jr., and mother-in-law, Arlyne Liban.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. memorial Mass on Saturday, Nov. 10, at The Cathedral of St. John, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donorís choice.
