Thelma M. Hogencamp Polewski

May 29, 1922 - Nov. 2, 2007

Thelma M. Hogencamp Polewski went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 2, 2007 at the Life Care Hospital of Wisconsin in Pewaukee.

Thelma was born May 29, 1922, in Waymart, Pa., the daughter of the late Grant and Mamie White. She worked at the Maple City Restaurant in Honesdale as a cook and later worked as an account representative at Sears in Brookfield and Milwaukee before retiring. Thelma was a member of the Waukesha Bible Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Arlene and husband John Moser of Waukesha, and Betty Lou and husband Carson Mader of the Villages, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Randy Moser, Donald, Richard, Tammy, Scott Fritsch, Dana, Bradley, and Cindy Hogencamp; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence M. Hogencamp and Bernard Polewski; two sons, Ronald and George Hogencamp; a grandson, John L. Fritsch, Jr.; two brothers, Lester and Dewight White; seven sisters, Viola Cary, Edna Singer, Ethel Singer, Florence Oakley, Lois Bunting, Dorothy Erk and Bessie Karlson.

Funeral services were held in the South Clinton Baptist Church on Nov. 10, 2007, with the Rev. Rand Kizer officiating. Her final resting place is in the Clinton Center Cemetery, Clinton Center, PA 18431.

A memorial service will be held at Waukesha Bible Church in Waukesha at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 2007 with the Rev. Patrick Griffiths officiating.
