Nancy J. Castona

Nancy J. Castona of Waukesha died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at age 72. Nancy was born in Milwaukee on March 3, 1935, the daughter of Eugene and Dorothy (nee Scherer) Smith.

Nancy worked as a food service director and at the Homes for Independent Living for many years. She loved reading, bingo and crossword puzzles.

Nancy will be greatly missed by her children, Lori (Gary) Sovie of Ogdensburg, N.Y., Daryl (Sue) Castona of Madison, Dean (Nancy K) Castona of Waukesha, Jill (Mark) Congemi of Waukesha, Judi (Blaine) Jester of Waukesha and Mary Caracci of Waukesha; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Sandi Krajewski of Brownsville, Minn; and other relatives and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Nov. 29, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Pete Peterson will be officiating.
