Harriet L. Thompson, 89, of Oconomowoc, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Tomah, to Harry and Sadie (nee Edgerton) Noble.

She was a member of TOPS for 30 years and loved animals and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Sally Jo Kruesel of Johnson Creek, Ronald "Ron" (Sherry) Thompson of Reedsburg, Jeaninne (Leon) Ruder of Oconomowoc, Melody (Richard) Russell of Milwaukee and Robin (Larry) Kollmann of Dousman; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Fern (Paul) DeCoto of Elroy and Barbara Sumpter of Waukesha; and brothers, LeRoy (Rosie) Noble of Waukesha and Dick Noble of Pewaukee. Other relatives and friends further survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Thompson Sr.; son, Alvin "Butch" Thompson; brothers, Robert and Harry Noble; and a sister, Irene Dable.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A second visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m funeral service Thursday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
