Edward M. ‘Ed’ Blaski

Edward M. "Ed" Blaski, 82, of Waukesha, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at River Hills West Health Care Center in Pewaukee. He was born on a farm in northern Wisconsin on Dec. 27, 1924, the son of Joseph and Martha Blaski.

He married Edna Carol on Oct. 20, 1951. After working as a farmer for many years, he was employed at Waukesha Training Center. Ed will be fondly remembered for the ways he touched the lives of others, including his sense of humor, kindness and his enthusiasm for life. He was a man who never spoke ill of others and had a deep love for his family and friends. Ed enjoyed gardening and cutting the grass with his son-in-law, Mark.

Ed will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Edna of Waukesha; his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mark Ceslinski of Mukwonago; one granddaughter and her husband, Tina and Bahman Amin Jr.; and his sister, Theresa Zylka of Milwaukee.

Ed has gone home to be with his family, including his parents; 15 sisters; four brothers; six half-sisters and brothers; and nine stepsisters and brother.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial service Friday, Oct. 19, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
