Thomas Joseph Kluth

March 23, 1923 - Oct. 19, 2007

Thomas Joseph Kluth of Waukesha died after a long illness on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at age 84. He was born in Racine on March 23, 1923, the son of the late Max John and Josephine Elizabeth (nee Makurat) Kluth.

In addition to his parents, his brother Bob Kluth preceded him in death.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Wellhausen) for 61 years; loving father of Thomas R. (Liz) Kluth and Sandy (Vince) Weidner; grandfather of Steve (Jo Anna) Kluth, Gary (Tara) Kluth, Julie and Amy Weidner. He also is survived by his brother John (Chris) Kluth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Thomas had served with the U. S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He retired from Waukesha Engine after 45 years of service.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (Highway JJ) at Highway J (four blocks South of Interstate 94).

If desired, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
