Debra A. "Deb" Lemmer of North Prairie died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at home after an extended battle with cancer, at age 49.

She was born Aug. 30, 1958, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Henry and Rose Ann Steiner. Debra was a member of St. Paulís Catholic Church and a past member of the Waukesha Cruise Fleet. She was currently an administrative assistant to the police chief of Delafield.

Debra will be deeply missed by her husband, Ken, whom she married July 24, 1982; her sons, Ryan and Chris; her brother, Mike (Terry) Steiner; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Elaine Lemmer; and her brothers-in-law, Bob (Sandie) Lemmer and Tom Lemmer. She is further survived by one nephew, four nieces, a four-legged companion named Casper, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

The funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at 7 p.m. at St. Paulís Catholic Church, S38-W31602 Highway D, P.O. Box 95, Genesee Depot, WI 53127 (corner of highways D and 83). The visitation for Debra will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church. A private burial will be at St. Paulís Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paulís Catholic Church Building Fund.

The family of Deb would like to express their deep appreciation to the employees of the city of Delafield for all of the help and support given during this difficult time.
