Letty Lynn Wethe

Letty Lynn Wethe (nee Anderson) passed away at home with her family by her side Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007.

She is survived by her husband, Burt; sister, Carolyn; son, Troy; daughter-in-law. Jennifer; and her grandson, Tristan, the love of her life.

Letty loved children. She taught primary-age children, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and rocked babies at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She enjoyed her friends, loved entertaining and planning parties, especially holidays. Her home was featured in the Brookfield News at Christmas, and she enjoyed sharing her holiday house. She enjoyed working in her yard and her flowers. She also loved traveling and planning trips. Best of all, Letty loved being a mom and grandma.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service Monday, Oct. 29, at Community Methodist Church of Elm Grove, 14700 Watertown Plank Road, with a reception to follow. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse; please meet at the cemetery.

Memorials to the Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin are appreciated.

The visitation will be a holiday party in honor of Letty’s love of Christmas; please dress accordingly.
