Gail ‘Bunny’ Doome

Gail "Bunny" Doome passed at the Florida Suncoast Hospice Woodside Facility in Pinellas Park, Fla., on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007. Gail was born and lived most of her life in the Milwaukee-Waukesha-Pewaukee area.
She was an active member of the Wisconsin Association of Realtors for many years. Gail "Bunny" retired to Florida in 1997, where she enjoyed the beaches, casino cruises and the warm weather with her newfound friends who will miss her deeply.
She is survived by her son, Edward "Ted" Boerner (life partner Carlos Mejia) of San Francisco, and daughter, Peggy (Phil) Boerner Lewandowski of Boulder Junction. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law, Melodine Davis; her nieces, Katherine (Joe) Kearney and Julie (Stewart) Reidhead; her nephew, Michael (Janet) North; her great-nephews, Maxwell and Mathew North, who lovingly called her "Uncle Bunny"; and many friends who enjoyed her joie de vivre.
Gail was preceded in death by her brother, Steve North, and her beloved in-laws, Edward Boerner Sr. and Cleo Boerner.
The family wishes any memorials be directed to the Woodside Hospice Home of the Florida Suncoast Hospice, 6770 102nd Ave. N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782, in appreciation and support of the loving care and devotion provided during life’s most difficult journey, or charity of your choice.
