Jean Landon Lefevre

Jean Landon Lefevre, 58, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at Hospice of Metro Denver in Aurora, Co. She was born July 6, 1949 to Jay Dean and Mary Constance (nee Harman) Landon.

Jean grew up in Garden City, Kan. and graduated with the class of 1967 from Garden City High School. She then attended Garden City Community College. She lived in Spokane, Wa., where she was the owner of Jeanís Chateau Petit and Animal Crackers businesses. Jean moved to Wichita, Kan. to become a dental hygienist at Wichita State University. She worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Michael Richard, DDS, in Garden City and for the past 10 years for Dr. Skarr, DDS, in Waukesha. Jean enjoyed scrapbooking and especially her travels to Italy. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Connie and Bill Foster.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Lefevre of Denver, her father Jay Dean Landon, and step-mother Joan Landon, both of Garden City, sister, Kathy Strand of Garden City, brother Rusty Landon of Deerfield, Kan., niece Amy Hunt of Denver, nephew Brandon Hunt of Hutchinson, Kan., great-nephew Mattias Hunt of Garden City and eight stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on today, Oct. 29 at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. Seventh St., in Garden City. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 at United Methodist Church in Deerfield with the Rev. Jim Pollom officiating. The burial will be at Deerfield Cemetery.
