Robert T. Dawson, 66, of North Freedom, went to his eternal heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, after a courageous battle with carcinoid cancer.

He was born in Cuba City on March 31, 1941, to the late Walter and Eileen Dawson. He attended the Leadmine State Graded Elementary School and started high school in Cuba City. The family relocated to Mukwonago during Robertís high school years. Robert worked as a machinist and tool and dye setter for Allis Chalmers and Kearney Tracker, and retired from Waukesha Engine (Dresser, Inc.) in 2003.

Robertís most notable earthly event was that he was saved by Godís grace and answered the invitation to come into the Lordís presence Aug. 20, 1980. He was a member of and served in the Waukesha Bible Church for 26 years and Walnut Hill Bible Church for 4 1/2 years. He was a special supporter of Crescent Lake Bible Camp near Rhinelander and considered himself a friend of Israel.
