Edna D. Dillman

Aug. 28, 1909 - Aug. 31, 2007

Edna D. Dillman (nee Heil), age 98 years and 3 days, found eternal rest with the Lord in heaven.

She was a long time resident of Chicago Heights Ill., where she managed a children’s apparel store for many years. She lead an active family and social life.

Following the passing of her husband of more than 50 years, Raymond Dillman, in 1991, she relocated to Waukesha to live with her daughter and son-law, Sandra and James Ripplinger. A daughter, Charlene Krall, preceded her in death. She is survived by a son and daughter-law, Charles and Bobbie Aydt of Indianapolis. There was a long-time, very special relationship with Pat and Jack Lindeman of LaGrange Ky., who will deeply miss her. She will also be deeply missed by her family residing in the Waukesha area. David, Laurie, Kayla, Kristen, Taylor and Will Ripplinger; Brian, Brenda, Matthew, Joshua, Raymond and Brandon Ripplinger; and Renee’, Steve, Emma and Jacob Knoll. She is further survived by 11 more grandchildren, five more great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 5 at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Road, Steger Ill. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Liborius Catholic Church, Steger Ill., on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m.
