Ella Mae Landon-Duchow

Ella Mae Landon-Duchow, 92, of Adams, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at Liberty Manor, where she has lived for the past five years.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Friends may call at Roseberry’s on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, Sept. 8. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Lannon, at a later date.

Ella was born April 28, 1915, in Elkhorn to William and Mable (nee Manning) Baker. She married Lyle Landon in 1936 in Madison. They made their home in Milwaukee, where they raised two children, Barbara and William Landon. Lyle passed away in December 1968. Ella lived in Oconomowoc with her daughter before retiring to Adams.

Ella married Bill Duchow on March 18, 1989, in Oconomowoc.

Ella enjoyed dancing, painting, playing bingo and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ella was preceded in death by her first husband, Lyle; second husband, Bill (1994); and brother, Willis (Evelyn) Baker.

Survivors include daughter, Barbara (Don) Ranta of Adams; son, Billy (Patti) Landon of Montello; daughter-in-law, Diana Landon of West Bend; grandsons, Jeff Ranta of Oconomowoc, Tim Landon of West Bend, Tom Landon of West Bend and Mike Ranta of Oconomowoc; granddaughters, Lori (Darren) Johnson of Dousman, Stephanie (Shawn) Boudry of West Bend, Lanae (Paul) Kovaceavich of West Bend, Julie (Dan) Fellenz of West Bend and Carrie Landon of Sheboygan; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, George (Eunice) Baker of Adams; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
