Howard J. Schuyler, 88, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007. He was born Oct. 11, 1918, the son of Ben W. and Lottie D. Schuyler.

Howard was a World War II veteran, enlisted in Company G-Red Arrow Division in 1940, having served in Australia, New Guinea and the Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1945.

He is survived by his children, Sharon (George) Crawford and Linda (William) Lindquist; grandchildren, Christina (Sean) Corwin, Daniel (Julie) de Snoo and Kurt Lindquist; stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth (Robert) Potter, Kimberly Crawford and George E. (Lisa) Crawford; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Corwin, Kyle Corwin and Brogan de Snoo; stepgreat-grandchildren, Amanda, Laurel, Ian, Samuel, Mitchell, Kira, George B., Diana and Gary; sister, Ellen Raschka; and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 8, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. A private burial will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
