Sherman Richard Cook

Sherman Richard Cook, 77, of Sebring, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at his home. He was born June 21, 1930, to Harry and Vida Cook in Marion, Ind.
He had been a resident of Sebring since 2003. He was a successful small-business man, owning and operating Shermís Campers in Pewaukee, Wis. He retired in 2003. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing the Great Lakes, working in his yard, relaxing in his checkerboard garage and playing with his lawn sprinkler remote control.
He is survived by his children, Richard Sherman Cook, Victoria Lynn Schaumann, Susan Marie Cisler, Sharon Rose Ponting and Anthony Harry Cook; his sister; Mary; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 8200 W. Bluemound Road.
