Alex Joseph Clark

Alex Joseph Clark of Waukesha went home to the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin at age 15.

Alex loved to be around people, when he smiled he made others smile. He was easy to care for and showed his gratitude through his eyes. Alex will always be remembered as an amazing young man who touched many people’s lives.

Alex will be deeply missed by his parents, Richard and Wendy Clark of Waukesha; grandparents, Gifford and Joyce Sutherland and Eleanore Clark; aunts, Julie (Aaron) Kjenaas, Debbie Sutherland, Judy Williams, Peggy (Tom) Heiderer, Mitzi (Tom) Stojsavljevic, Karen (Jerry) Mielke and Barby (Mark) Abramczyk; uncles, Mike Sutherland, Tim (Maureen) Clark, Greg (Jeanie) Clark and Jeff (Dawn) Clark; and 18 cousins. Alex is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Alex received warm, loving care from dear friends, including Aunt Maureen, Aunt Debbie, Grandma Joyce, Liz Szeflinski (nee Dyer), Charmaine Cyrus, Terry Hafeman, Ron and Linda Singer, Brian Gliatto and many special teachers, doctors, therapists and aids.

Alex was welcomed to heaven by his grandfather, Leo Clark.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service Thursday, April 3, at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Jim Holmberg will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
