Janet Mary Pautz

Janet Mary Pautz, 56, of Waukesha, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, after a courageous battle with melanoma.

She was the beloved daughter of Nancy M. (nee Dooley) and the late Clifford A. Pautz; proud sister of Clifford W. (Gay), Warren (Dianne), Alan (Vesta), Roger (Crystal), Jeffrey (Kristine) and Brian (Heather) Pautz; fond aunt of Justin, Dana, Michael, David, Stacey and Keegan Pautz; stepaunt of Paul Oren and Jessica and Victoria Page; niece of Sister Kathleen Dooley, S.D.S., and Daniel (Dorothy) Dooley; and cousin of Susan (David) Jambretz, Patricia Bowen and Bruce (Laurie) Dooley. She is further survived by many friends.

Jan loved to volunteer at Banting and Hawthorne elementary schools in Waukesha and LindenGrove Assisted Living. She also spent hours doing sudoku puzzles. She was a very caring and loving person.

A special thank you to John and Ann O’Hara for taking Jan to church every week. Also, thank you to Dr. Ronald Hart and the entire staff at Oncology Alliance in Wauwatosa and to Dr. Michael Dawson and Hospice Advantage for all their support and care.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Schaff Funeral Home, 5920 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Thursday, April 3, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Private burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
