Ralph J. Tenhover

Ralph J. Tenhover of Waukesha died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 88. He was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Ohio, the son of Harry A. and Bertha Tenhover.
Ralph served in the Army Air Corps as a quartermaster sergeant during World War II. He worked for Clark Oil for more than 40 years and retired as head division manager. He was very active in every church he belonged to, but above all, he enjoyed being with his family. The area will be missing a kind and generous man in Ralph J. Tenhover.
He was the beloved husband of Jane M. Phelps-Tenhover and the late Florence (nee Kosmatka) for 55 years; dear father of Thomas J. (Susan) and James J. (Kathi) Tenhover; dear grandpa of Patrick (Kim), Andy, Jeni (Robert) Ramerez, John (Wensday), Kerri and Jessi; and great-grandpa of Dillon and Emma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian burial Friday, April 4, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Salvation Army or the church would be appreciated.
