Mary Rose Piver

Mary Rose Piver, 53, of Piney Flats, Tenn., died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at home.

Piver was a Wisconsin native and had lived in Sullivan County, Tenn., for the past few years.

She was a student at East Tennessee State University and a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.

She was a daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes Watry Egerer and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Egerer and Sandra Egerer, and her father-in-law, Foster Drake Piver.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Piver of South Carolina; son, John Piver and daughter Danielle Piver, both of Tennessee; three grandsons, Daniel Lee Piver, Elijah Drake Piver and Camren Gregory Kellett; brother, William Egerer of Wisconsin; seven sisters, Audrey Lucier of Wisconsin, Carol Houston of Wisconsin, Joanne Hafer of Colorado, Connie Grosse of Oregon, Shirley Bradt of Wisconsin, Pat Scharhag of Wisconsin and Jane Winsor of Wisconsin; 21 nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and great-nephews; her former husband, Daniel Drake Piver, and his extended family.

A celebration of life service for her will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service time. An interpreter will be provided for the entire service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mental Health America of Greenville County, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5600, Greenville, SC 29601.
