Alan A. Schneider

Alan A. Schneider, 60, formerly of Muskego, died March 9, 2008.
He was born Jan. 3, 1948.
As a senior at Muskego High School, he entered a contest to design the new city seal. His entries won first and third place and were used in the design of the Muskego city seal.
Alan served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a talented artist and custom wood craftsman and designer. He was an avid bass fisherman, a talent which he passed along to his grandchildren. He loved nature and looked at its beauty through the eyes of a true artist.
Surviving him are his spouse, Peggy Clouden; daughters, Alana (Greg) Gonzalez and Angela (William) Winfield; sisters, Judy Schneider, Pam (Gregg) Wilson and Vicky (Mark) Jozwicki; brother, Russ (Lori) Schneider; 10 beautiful grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life; nephews and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Linda Schneider; grandparents; and our little angel, Linda.
A family memorial service was held March 12 at Messinger Mortuary in Scottsdale, Ariz. A military memorial will be held at a yet-to-be announced date at the National Veterans cemetery in Phoenix.
