James Dwyer, 65, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 12, 2008.
James is survived by his beloved Carol (Mohanty); daughters, Linda (Don Kolanowski), Laure and Sandy Jacobs; sons, James (Denise) and John; grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Simone and Jordan; siblings, Judy Kolz, Pat (Darlene) and Jack. Further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Dwyer.
James was born April 29, 1942, in Milwaukee to the late James and Dorothy Dwyer. He always had an entrepreneurís spirit. He started his own catering business called Old Town Deli in 1985 and ran the business for 7 years. With his loving wife Carol, with whom he spent the most fulfilling 35 years of his life, he started a small woodworking business in their basement. Their operation began in 2000 and quickly grew. Together, they spent hours each day working side by side to handcraft birdhouses and feeders that they sold at art fairs and other events around the country.
James was a father, grandfather, traveler and animal lover, who touched many lives and will be deeply missed by friends and family.
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin. A funeral service will be held at noon. Interment is at Forest Hill Cemetery, Oak Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association.
