March 4, 1942 - April 18, 2008

On Friday, April 18, 2008, Sister M. Doris was called into eternity. She was born March 4, 1942, in Ironwood, Mich.

Her family later moved to Milwaukee, where she eventually met the Rev. Joseph Kentenich, founder of the Schoenstatt Movement. On Aug. 15, 1961, she was received into the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary.

Sister M. Doris was a very good and compassionate nurse. She worked in Divine Providence Hospital and Home in Ivanhoe Minn., in St. Maryís Hospital in Madison and for many years in St. Vincentís Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Ritmanich (nee Mantyla); her sister, Carol (August) Schlumpf; her brother, David (Joan) Ritmanich; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Kronmueller, and stepfather, Carl Ritmanach.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 21, and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Provincial House, W284-N404 Cherry Lane, Waukesha. A rosary prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Provincial House, followed by interment at the sistersí cemetery.
