Richard A. ĎDickí Horn

April 27, 1924 - April 17, 2008

Richard A. "Dick" Horn, 83, of Muskego, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Richard was born April 27, 1924, to Olga (nee Ruehle) and Arnold "Mike" Horn, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was the loving husband of Dorothy "Dotty" (nee Grafenauer) for 61 years. Richard was the dear father of Patricia (Jerald) Hulbert, William (Denise) Horn and Robert (Joan) Horn. He was the proud "Poppy" of Laurie (Ted) Valenti, Jason (Jen) Hulbert, Jonathan Hulbert, Brian (Laura), Daniel (Jamie), Kurt, Shannon, Kent and Kelly Horn and was the "Great-Poppy" of Bradyn, Taylor, Morgan and Danica. Richard was the brother of David (Lynne) Horn and cousin of Paul (Nancy) Horn. He will also be missed by many close relatives and dear friends.

After proudly serving his country during World War II with the United States Navy, Richard joined with his family to run Horn Bros., Inc., founded by his father and his uncle, Oscar, in 1927. He loved the many friends he made while dedicating his life to the family business. Richard was an avid bowler, golfer and a dedicated fan of the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers and Packers. Dick was also a lifelong member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, April 22 at St. Paulís Lutheran Church, S66-W14325 Janesville Road, Muskego. There will be a private family interment.
