Robert ‘Bob’ H. Raasch

Robert "Bob" H. Raasch, a longtime resident of Waukesha, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 66. He was born Sept. 18, 1941, the son of Henry and Margaret Raasch.

Bob was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha. He was in the Air Force National Guard for six years. Bob was a dedicated and hard-working employee in all his working years. He was known as a handyman who helped everyone. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and joking with people. His greatest joy in life was his family.

Bob will be deeply missed by the love of his life, his wife, Carol; sons, David (Terry) of Independence, Mo., and Paul (Angela) of Oconomowoc; and his daughter, Catherine Ann "Cathy" Wadley of Rockford, Ill. He was the special bump-bump of Madeline, McKenna, Jackson, Alexa, Addison, Sabrina, Ashley and Frank. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a grandmother, Wardius.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Monday, Aug. 4, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Robert Michel will be officiating. A committal service will take place immediately following the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
