William A. Shay
William A. Shay passed away peacefully into Godís arms Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at age 65.
He was the devoted father of Kathleen (Jerome) Monfre and Patrick (Kristina) Shay, and the doting grandfather of Drew and Bryn Shay. Bill always made time for his family and friends, and was happiest when surrounded by loved ones and his dog, Molly.
He was welcomed into heaven after a wonderful life by his parents, Andrew and Martha, his beloved wife, B.J., and other family and friends.
Bill was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and the University of Illinois, earning his masterís degree in music. He worked as a band director in Marshall and then as a salesman with Speltz Music in Wisconsin Rapids. For 21 years, Bill has felt privileged to be part of the White House of Music family in Waukesha. Passionate about running and music, he was actively involved in Badgerland Striders and the Brookfield Civic Band.
Please join us in the celebration of Billís life from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service Monday, Aug. 4, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield.
