Brian Thomas Linnan

Brian Thomas Linnan of Delafield, formerly of Brookfield, found peace Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at age 49, after a year-long illness.

Brian was an avid sportsman, who loved to fish and hunt and was a proud founding member of the Tall Boys Conservation Club, along with his brothers and two close friends. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and will be especially missed by his family, his many friends and acquaintances.

Brian leaves behind a loving family: his dearest mother, Joan (Toddy) Linnan, and his siblings, Carol (Edward) Parcell, Michael (Laurie), Timothy (Joanne), John Patrick (Cindy), Linda (Scott) Christy and Kate (Thomas) Swegle. He was also the dear uncle to 16 nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) on Dec. 31, 1997.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, Aug. 8, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield (north of Gebhardt Road at Calhoun Road). Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, New Berlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes your donation to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation, Regional Cancer Center Inpatient Unit or Zilber Hospice.
