Julius J. ‘Johnny’ Tenke

June 4, 1930 - Aug. 7, 2008

Julius J. "Johnny" Tenke found eternal peace Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at age 78.

He was the dearly loved husband of 47 years to Yvonne (nee Krostag); loving father of Pamela (Sean) Walsh; and proud grandpa of Justina, Jaeda and Michael Walsh and Jessilyn and Chad Zinke. He is also survived by his brother, James (Laurine), and his sisters, Anna and Betty. He will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Carl; sisters, Margaret and Julia; and his parents, Anna and Karoly.

Johnny served in the U.S. Army First Calvary and was a Korean War veteran. He also owned a taxi and was known as "Number 90." Johnny will be missed for his sense of humor, love of politics and his willingness to always help others.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:15 p.m. until the 2:15 p.m. service Friday, Aug. 15, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Chapel, S22-W22890 Broadway, Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
